Midthun's elves follow a long tradition of Norwegian elves such as Nils Bergslien, Th.Kittelsen and Kjell Aukrust. Midthun's elves are authentic Norwegian barn elves who appear in our old farm environments, but also in the urban environment and other places that are not always so obvious for elves to visit. His drawings have enriched our imagination and relationship to the world of elves for many years.
